Faith Formation

Truckee Lutheran Presbyterian Church Is working toward offering a variety of Faith Formation Programs and Events for all ages.

Sunday School:
Kindergarten through 5th grade meets every Sunday during worship services. (Temporarily suspended due to lack attendance; we’ll start up again as soon as we can!)

Confirmation:
Confirmation classes are during Sunday School time for 6-8th graders. Confirmation usually occurs in 8th or 9th grade. We use the “Here We Stand” program offered by Augsburg Publishing.

Adult Education:
Sunday Morning Seminars at 9:00 a.m.  (Temporarily suspended; we’ll start up again as soon as we can!)
Each Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. we  offer a seminar on varying varying topics.

Men’s Bible Study:  Meets at 10:30 AM via Zoom – All are welcome! Please contact Mark Heyne (mheyne8@gmail.com) for the Zoom link, schedule and more info.

At TLPC we believe that God came to us in Jesus, who was both fully human and fully divine. Jesus lived among us, revealing the good news that God loves and saves us by grace. This promise was fulfilled through Jesus crucifixion and resurrection, bringing new life. By the gift of grace, received through faith,  We welcome all who are seeking God’s love and grace, regardless of race or culture, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, or relationship status, including those with addictions, physical or mental health challenges.  As followers of Jesus we are transformed and set free to love and serve all others, just as God loves us.  As a faith community we are attempting to live out our Mission Statement  in our community and the world.
